Learning to home school young kids while trying to work from home is a task every parent now faces. Finding time to engage with your child and keep them on a much needed schedule can be near impossible when parents are also navigating their online work.


To try and make lives easier, here are some resources designed for parents to adapt to the coronavirus conditions.


A website full of useful information for families and teachers to help students transition to homeschooling. This site includes resources for Physical Activity, Play and Discovery, Food Access and Nutrition, Resources for Transition to Online Learning/ Home Schooling, COVID-19 General Resources, and Resources for School Staff and Parents: Navigating a Health Crisis


Not all kids learn equally, and this website knows that. If your child is dyslexic learner, autistic learner, or is visually impaired or has writing difficulties, this website has a list of apps to help accommodate educational needs.


Jstor is working to make more of their content free to the public so students have access to research and information. Access their website in the first link, and to read about what changes they're making go to the second link.

This Kennedy Center Youtube channel has Mo Willems engaging with kids for quarantine safe learning to give parents a break to breath. New episodes are released at 1 pm ET weekdays so every day this can be apart of your home school routine.


This weather channel is offering weather courses for students K-12 during the pandemic.

This news caster is taking his segment "On the Road" and making a kid friendly quarantine version called "Kindness 101". He goes live on Facebook (second link) Monday the 23rd to Thursday the 26th at 2 pm ET. His segment is 30 minutes for kids of all ages to learn about kindness
