Boredom Busters!

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

Everything may be closed but there are still organizations doing their part to bring a fun experience into everyone's homes. Here are some places doing their best to help you stay sane and entertained.

Start a 7 day free trial and get access to your favorite shows! Musicals, the classics, and everything Shakespear is available to watch.

The zoo is offering live safaris on their Facebook as well as the recorded videos on their YouTube and website! The first link includes links for donations to help take care of the animals, and the second link has fun videos and activities. Some things they are doing include printable art crafts, and live penguin parades through the zoo!

Another live stream coming from their aquariums (and penguins!) if you want to watch the animals from your home.

Explore online galleries and cultural sites with educational descriptions. It's google earth but for site seeing and virtual adventures.

Another museum using Google 360 technology has virtual tours on their website above. This self guided walk through allows you to stop on any painting you like to see, for however long you wish to admire the art.

Want a “paint and sip night”? This woman has tons of easy acrylic step by step painting tutorials for a fun night in: https://www.youtube.com/user/HoneyBmama/playlists

Or, for painting, go to a classic and watch this massive collection of soothing Bob Ross painting tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/user/BobRossInc/videos
